Hex nuts from ITA Fasteners are general purpose nuts made of stainless steel for maximum durability and strength. These nuts can be used for industrial, petrochemical and commercial purposes. But please note that for high strength industrial screws, it is advised to use the dimensionally corresponding industrial nuts. It is also one of the most widely used fasteners for petrochemical applications. The stainless steel make significantly increases the life of the nuts and in turn, increases the life of the component it is used to design.
The nuts are threaded on the inside, and provide a good grip for when an assembly has to be disintegrated. It also provides a high amount of torque on the bolt it is mated with, when adjustments have to be made to the construction.
