POP Rivets

Pop rivets from ITA Fasteners are evolved and high-end fasteners for modern assembly needs. They are used in the most demanding environments of demanding designs. Rivets are generally used in blindside applications where a fastener has to be tightened or loosened from only one end. But Pop rivets are used for its most important functionality. Special tools are required to use pop rivets which cannot be used on regular rivets. These tools are called configuration tools which can give you the perfect dimensional accuracy while using pop rivets.

They are tubular fasteners which come with a mandrel through the middle. Rivets are inserted in in the blind side, and a configuration tool is used to draw the mandrel through the body of the rivet. This makes the blind end expand, after which the mandrel can be snapped off. These rivets come in two types, ‘open' and ‘closed' ended blind rivets. It is available in stainless steel, carbon steel, and alloy steel to bear more wear and tear while also making it more corrosion resistant.
