Description:

Helical spring washers from ITA Fasteners are mostly used to secure the loose components of machines and electrical equipment tightly. With its very high bolt tension per unit of applied torque, the screws protect the equipment from vibrations. It is available in stainless steel, carbon steel, and alloy steel to bear more wear and tear while also making it more corrosion resistant. These spring washers are one of the oldest fasteners still in use. They have been used for more than 100 years to build the equipment of ships.

Apart from their anti-loosening property, these screws offer several other notable advantages like providing a consistent torque control and load distribution across the bearing surface. These screws can also be considered as an excellent locking device, which can be used on hardened faying surfaces. The split in the coil absorbs any shock on the surface without transmitting any of the effects onto the equipment. The split is also responsible for resisting any back-off rotation of the screws.
