Wedge lock washers from ITA Fasteners are used in applications which need to be immune to continuous small vibrations and movements over a long period. By this, we mean that they can handle dynamic loads which tend to change throughout the lifetime of the structure without giving into wear and tear. Therefore, these washers offer operational reliability at meager maintenance costs. If you are designing products which have to be covered by warranty, then we suggest that you use wedge locking washers.
They are extremely easy to install and remove using simple hand tools. They are made out of heat-treated materials which makes them withstand extreme temperatures without losing their mechanical or electrical properties. The most significant advantage of using these fasteners has to be that they cannot be loosened even with the use of lubricants. It is suitable for sensitive and hardened surfaces alike. It is available in stainless steel, carbon steel, and alloy steel to bear more wear and tear while also making it more corrosion resistant.
